Replore has no account, no user database and no visitor analytics, and stores nothing you type. Its only server code is a small relevance check that passes your search to an AI and keeps none of it; if that check fails, it records only the error type and time so we can fix it. When our meaning-based search is switched on, the same check also asks an AI model what your words mean and looks them up in an index of public repo names and descriptions (Cloudflare Vectorize); every repo found that way is checked live on GitHub before you see it.

Results are ranked by fit — how well a repo matches your words, how popular it is (stars), and how freely you can use its license — so the top pick is relevant and popular and free to use, not just the most-starred. Each card says why it's relevant. This page is keyword search: it matches your words, then a small AI check hides repos that clearly don't fit. The plugin goes further: it has your AI write the searches and judge every result, and reads a whole plan feature by feature. Results are GitHub search matches, not a scan of every repository. Stars measure popularity, not quality, and can be bought. "Completely free?" and "OK in a paid product?" are read from the license only — a plain summary, not legal advice; some projects also sell a paid hosted version or add-ons.
